The whole RDJ thing got old after the first 15 minutes of the movie. McConaughey was VERY out of place in this movie. I liked the Cruise cameo, but I wish they would have ran with that a little more. I thought it would have been funny to have some sort of dancing in his underwear(but in the fat suit) as a homage to Risky Business. Some of this stuff is awesome if your easily amused I'm sure, but to me it just felt like a bad episode of Mad TV but with good actors. The writing just wasn't there. Very hit or miss, mostly miss. I thought this would be a laugh a minute riot going in. Though like I said, I'll give it another chance on DVD.

the whole movie was to have crappy lines, cheesy scenese, etc.. it was making fun of everything hollywood </div></div>

That is obvious, it just wasn't very good at doing that. Most of the jokes fell flat and I understand the humor it was aiming for. It wasn't that bad, like I said Id give it around a 6.5. Thats a above average rating from me, I'm somewhat picky.
